The prime of the spring season shows wonderful flowerings of trees and meadows, soothing us with their colours and scents. Romulea is back, spring is coming up

Also this year we have been able to see a large Romulea rollii’s flowering on the dunes of the Torre del Cerrano Marine Protected Area. The presence of the sea saffron, plant symbol of the MPA, undoubtedly shows a vegetal biodiversity to protect together with the valuable dune habitats that are slowly disappearing from the Italian coasts. Our documentaries to think and raise awareness

In the last weeks we had two interesting meetings for environmental education and the screening of our short films “Cerrano: Nature revealed” and “Parallel lives”. The first meeting concerned the project “Cerrano Guides with and fro the school “, proposed for free by ASD Guide del Cerrano to the Municipality of Silvi. For the first time we showed our videos to a primary school class, certifying the interest of the pupils and their teachers in the environment. Continue reading
