“Parallel lives”: a flash movie on the Torre del Cerrano Marine Protected Area

Also this year we took part to the “Camogli – International Marine Reserves Film Festival”, held in Camogli (Genoa) on 5-6-7th December, at its second edition. Two years from the start of our blog, and after the experience of “Cerrano: nature to reveal” we wanted to make a short video, a four-minute film, entitled “Parallel lives”.

It refers to the parallel lives of the plants and animals of the Torre del Cerrano Marine Protected Area whose natural cycles meet less and less with those of the contemporary man.

Fragile ecosystems, such as those of the Torre del Cerrano Marine Protected Area, are really an example of the adaptation of living species to a very anthropic territory, while the increasing urbanization of the society and changed life styles and ways of consumption are leading men to lose any contact with Nature.
