In the last weeks we had two interesting meetings for environmental education and the screening of our short films “Cerrano: Nature revealed” and “Parallel lives”. The first meeting concerned the project “Cerrano Guides with and fro the school “, proposed for free by ASD Guide del Cerrano to the Municipality of Silvi. For the first time we showed our videos to a primary school class, certifying the interest of the pupils and their teachers in the environment.
A pupil answered the question: “How is the best way to protect thee sea and coast of Silvi for you? ” in this way: “Call the Coast Guard to prevent injustice“.
Quoting Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, we can say “Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves. And it is rather tedious for children to have to explain things to them time and again”.
Other interesting meeting in Silvi was held on the 7th February: as guests of the cultural association Fratello Mare (Brother Sea), we spent together a good afternoon full of memories, nice pictures and important reflections, thanks to our documentaries and Silvi’s historic fishery.
